Now that dream shopping trip is within your reach. Terry and Janice give you insights and opportunities from more than 20 years of living, working and shopping in NYC (as well as Paris, London, Hong Kong, Singapore,…). We take small groups of 7 or less discerning women on a customized shopping adventure. We will tailor a weekend of shopping to your specific needs and desires: fashion, furnishings, gifts and more.
Grab your girlfriends for 3 days of discovery and fun…it’s sex and the city without the sex. This intimate and personal Bespoke shopping excursion will allow you to experience New York City fashion as a true insider.
What We Offer: A unique, customized weekend (3 days) of shopping in NYC for 1-7 women—it can be one-on-one, you and your best friend, or the whole gang. We will design a shopping trip to suit your own needs….like a bespoke suit or dress, it will be tailored to you…no two trips are the same.
We will do this by getting to know you and your shopping habits through a pre-tour survey and phone interview—where and how you like to shop—what you like and dislike—where you get your info and advice—what you are hoping to find in NYC. We will share fashion trends and answer your questions.
Before you arrive in NYC, we will talk to the stores you want to visit, seek out new addresses and set up appointments with jewelry and accessory artisans you would never find on your own. We can cover department stores, boutiques, flea markets, sample sales and “finds” off the beaten track.
If you want it, we will provide style consulting and shopping advice during the tour and we will make sure that you get special attention at “intimidating” stores.
How It Works: We’ll meet Thursday evening for cocktails at Janice’s Tribeca loft. Over wine and cheese, we’ll review the schedule for the weekend, answer questions, help with any reservations or recommendations you might need.
Each day, we will meet at 10:00 a.m. at your hotel and set out for the day together. We will have a driver to accompany us and carry our packages throughout the day. Lunch will be together. We will drop you off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 1:00 on Sunday (you can catch a matinee or an early plane back home). You are on your own for breakfast and dinner.
What You are responsible for: We are not travel agents. Please make your own travel arrangements, including air/train fare, meals. The hotel (one of the best-kept secrets of native New Yorkers) is included in the price of the tour. We will gladly give you suggestions for restaurants, museums, entertainment if needed.
What We Cover: Cocktails+ on Thursday evening, private transportation while we are shopping, cost of your hotel room, all the help/advice you want or need.
When: Tell us when it suits (pun intended) you and we will make every effort to design a trip around your timing. A weekend is ideal, but it can be shorter or longer, according to your schedule.
